Description



The Master’s purpose is to educate professionals and give them certified expertise to do assistance and research activity, mostly clinical, in the field of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology.

A value added to this Master is to refer to all the knowledge areas contemplated by the Syllabus, which is a program finalized to the signing-in process of the European Pediatrician Endocrinologists and Pediatricians involved in Endocrinologic Patologies, approved by the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE).

Thus, to get this Master means to be able to compete for positions within all Europe, with a CV that is approved and recognized by the ESPE.

Costs



The Master's costs € 3.500,00 (+ € 130,00 for the degree certificate e € 32,00 of stamp duty, € 16,00 per year).

The amount will be paid in two flats; one each Academic Year.

Master organization



The Master lasts two years. The activity foresees 60 ECTS, equal to 1500 hours of total commitment for the student, of which:

  • 750 hours of regular classes
  • 510 hours of e-learning

Remaining hours are dedicated to stages/internships and/or to a personal project or individual study.

The Master is held in four months and implies regular classes, with the interactive discussion of clinical cases, interactive forums and practical sessions at the Unit of Endocrinology.

Requirements

The enrollment to the Master is incompatible with the simultaneous registration to other degrees.
The Master is designed for Medicine graduates who are members of the Medical Register, holding a Residency in Endocrinology or Pediatrics.
Foreign applicants, EU and non-EU, currently resident in Italy with a regular working or studying visa can enroll to the Master's.
The registration of non-EU citizens resident abroad is regulated through a special legislation.
Italians, EU or non-EU citizens, in possession of a foreign academic degree which has not yet been declared equivalent to an Italian degree must apply for recognition of their title on the form for admission to the admission test.
