The Master offers a theoretical and practical high-level education in the field of Pediatric Dermatology and it gives the opportunity to learn from the Professors of the course, who are known experts in the field, at a national and international level. Part of the course is hold in English.
Pediatric Dermatology represents, both for its specificity and for the differencies with the adult Dermatology, a ultra-specific field that is growing constantly.
The practical activity foresees frequency at the Units of Pediatric Dermatology, participation to all the activities performed, interactive discussion of clinical cases, their diagnostic and theraputic path, participation to the multidisciplinary discussion of complex clinical cases, medical advices into the Departments and day hospital activities, when you deal with patients who have complex and/or rare diseases.
Learners will acquire the expertise and the autonomy necessary to guarantee to the young patients a qualified assistance, thanks to the academic title obtained, and they will be facilitated into the placement and professional growth in this field.
INTERNSHIP AND ONLINE DIDACTIC ACTIVITIES:
The Master forsees 20 days (Mon-Fri) of attendance per academic year, which can be set up according to the needs of the learner. Attendance takes place at Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital in Rome (venues of S. Paolo and S. Onofrio).
Attendance periods must be agreed via e-mail with Lavinia Serra <lavinia.serra@opbg.net> and then communicated to info@scuoladipediatria.it.
The lessons are held asynchronously: you can attend at any time and from any device, by connecting to our VLE Platform.

N.B. The Master requires a 70% mandatory attendance, under penalty of exclusion from the Course, as per the Statute.

- Atopic Dermatitis and Patient Education for the management of chronic dermatosis and for topical therapy
- Other eczema and hives
- Psoriasi; Lichen
- Pyodermitis and Mycotic infections
- Viral skin infections and infestations
- Adolecent skin
- Skin lesions in child abuse and differential diagnosis
- Bullous diseases acquired and diagnostic path
- Syndromic and non-syndromic hypo and hyper-pigmented lesions
- Nevi: photodermatosis and phototherapy
- Vascular anomalies
- Genetic approach to genodermatosis: counseling, molecular diagnosis and prenatal diagnosis
- Ichthyosis, ectodermal dysplasia; incontinentia pigmenti; epidermolysis bullosa

- Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Dermatology (dermoscopy, skin biopsy), dermatosurgery and laser

Costs
The Master costs: € 3.500 (for two years of the course)
Payment will be split in 4 installments (see announcement of the current academic year)
The University and the PagoPA system Membership and functioning of the PagoPA system The legislation relating to payments to the Public Administration obliges public administrations, including universities, to receive the relevant payments through the system called PagoPA promoted by the Agency for Digital Italy (AGID) of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The PagoPA payment notice can be paid through various channels (credit card, at bank branches, tobacconists, etc.). PagoPA is an electronic payment system designed to make any payment to the Public Administration simpler, safer and more transparent. The legislation relating to payments to the Public Administration obliges public administrations, including universities, to receive the relevant payments through this system. PagoPa allows you to pay through a variety of channels, physical or online. The student receives the payment notice at the end of the normal enrollment / enrollment / subsequent installments / competitions / access test procedures. The PagoPA notice contains the Payment Notice Code, the QR Code and the Interbank Code (CBILL circuit) that allow you to pay easily. Once you have received the PagoPa notice, you can pay with different methods: - online by credit card by connecting to the website http://utov.it/pagopa - via APP IO of PAgoPA if you have SPID credentials - via home / mobile banking through the CBILL circuit or members of the PagoPA system - at all bank branches or ATMs that allow you to pay through the CBILL circuit or members of the PagoPA system - in the Sisal / Lottomatica betting shops It is not possible to pay the PagoPA bulletin at Poste Italiane counters. Durata e articolazioni
The Master’s degree lasts two years.
The educational activity foresees 60 ECTS. In presence and e-learning didactics, stages at affiliated institutions, guided exercitations and frequency of dedicated didactic laboratories.

Enrolment to university courses (or equivalent), finalized in developing professional skills in the medical field, wheter in Italy or abroad, gives the right to be exempted from ECM training. The lenght of the exemption cannot exceed the legal duration of the course and must coincide with the period of attendance.
The exemption does not give you credits, but it reduces the mandatory individual training.
Requirements
The Master is addressed to Medicine graduates, preferred if holding a Residency in Pediatrics or Dermatology.
Foreign applicants, EU and non-EU, currently resident in Italy with a regular working or studying visa can enroll to the Master.
