Pediatric Radiology is the branch of Diagnostic Imaging concerning patients aged less than 16 years. It encompasses diagnostic imaging of the fetus, the newborn, the infant, the child, and the adolescent. As the child approaches adulthood, disease patterns become more similar to those in adult life.
The training will be hold in local facilities equipped with state-of-art instruments, every technique (CT, MRI, nuclear medicine and interventional radiology, etc.).
The primary purpose of the Master is to develop expertise on radiological techniques and imaging findings, the trainee is expected to acquire knowledge of the clinical and pathologic presentation of diseases of the pediatric age.
The Master aims to prepare the radiologist towards a career dedicated above all to pediatric imaging. The trainee will be able to manage and develop diagnostic and interventional methods.

Durata e articolazioni
The Master’s degree lasts two years.
The educational activity foresees 60 ECTS. In presence and e-learning didactics, stages at affiliated institutions, guided exercitations and frequency of dedicated didactic laboratories.
Enrolment to university courses (or equivalent), finalized in developing professional skills in the medical field, wheter in Italy or abroad, gives the right to be exempted from ECM training. The lenght of the exemption cannot exceed the legal duration of the course and must coincide with the period of attendance.
The exemption does not give you credits, buti t reduces the mandatory individual training.
Requirements
The Master is addressed to Medicine graduates holding a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
The enrollment to the Master is incompatible with another simltaneus degree.
Foreign applicants, EU and non-EU, currently resident in Italy with a regular working or studying visa can enroll to the Master.
